ADMAP Inc.

1982
Started the technical development of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) at the Tamano Lab of Mitsui Zosen K. K.
1987
Introduced large CVD-SiC facilities.
1988
Completed the CVD-SiC coating technology for boats and tubes for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
1994
Transferred business from Mitsui Zosen K. K. to Sanzo Metal Inc.Started the sales of SiC single membrane dummy wafers.
Jul-1996
Established ADMAP Inc. (100%-owned by Mitsui Zosen K. K. with capital of 1 hundred million yen).
Created the Advanced Materials Sales Department in Mitsui Zosen K. K.
Succeeded the new materials business from Sanzo Metal Inc., and started a framework in which ADMAP Inc. was responsible for the manufacturing of CVD-SiC products, and Mitsui Zosen K. K. was responsible for marketing and sales.
2007
Created a sales department by transferring the marketing and sales operations for CVD-SiC products from Mitsui Zosen K. K.
Aug-2011
Increased capital to 1.5 hundred million yen.
Succeeded all businesses related to new materials from Mitsui Zosen K. K.
Feb-2013
Increased capital to 1.6 hundred million yen.
Established a 100%-owned subsidiary (ADMAP CERAMICS INC.) in the U.S.
Jul-2015
Increased shareholding of Ferrotec Corporation to 66% via the transfer of shares.
(Joint venture between Ferrotec Corporation and Mitsui Zosen K. K.)
Oct-2018
Became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ferrotec Holdings Corporation via the transfer of all shares.
Jan-2020
Merged with Ferrotec Ceramics Corporation and renamed as “Ferrotec Material Technologies Corporation”.
