Notice on "Development Center" construction
In order to further accelerate our new product development, Ferrotec Ceramics announces that we decided to build a "Development Center" in Hakusan shi, Ishikawa.

1. Scope of construction

Our Ishikawa Plant manufactures ceramic substrates for probe cards used in the wafer inspection process, which is the front-end process of semiconductor manufacturing. Advanced technologies for miniaturization and high integration used in advanced semiconductors for mobile devices and automotive require new types of ceramic substrates for probe cards.

In response to these needs, we will construct a "Development Center" at the "Yamajima Industrial Park" near our current Ishikawa Factory to develop and manufacture ceramic substrates for new probe card. We also consolidate existing development functions dispersed in the Kansai Factory in Amagasaki shi, Hyogo Prefecture and in the Ishikawa Factory to accelerate the development of new materials and new technologies, and will make it a development base to create new products.
